Ethiopia, Origins - Natural

We taste: Berries, Chocolate, Tea Our 'Origins' coffees pay tribute to the profound origins and cultural significance of wild arabica coffee, deeply rooted in the heart of Ethiopia. These coffees (natural and washed) present two distinct flavor profiles that are fruity, floral, tea-like, and unmistakably Ethiopian. Origins Natural is sourced from smallholder farmers in the Oromia region of the Guji zone of Ethiopia. As is typical in Ethiopia, farmers cultivate various crops including coffee. This coffee varietal is heirloom, meaning its specific varietal may be difficult to ascertain. Once harvested the cherries are gathered and sold to community processing stations to be sorted for quality, processed, and packaged for shipping. This lot brings back the classic Ethiopian flavor profiles of sweetness with a heavier body.
