At my house, biscuits were an everyday thing when I was a kid. And, of course, she used her grandma's old, decidedly-worn biscuit cutter. That's what people in the South often do. That being said, when she got her hands on one of these handmade suckers (hers is walnut), she retired my grandma's to a place of honor and has made thousands more biscuits with one of our handmade wooden pieces.
